Buildnow is a fast-growing fintech startup based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia that provides supply chain financing solutions for companies in the construction and manufacturing industry. Buildnow is MENA's first "Build now Pay later" solution. We provide ultra-short raw materials financing to Construction and Manufacturing SME's thereby enabling them to buy cheaper at volume, improve production efficiencies, and supercharge their growth.
Job Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence in testing practices. Roll up your sleeves to ensure quality in our startup environment.
2. Test Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality of our fintech products.
3. Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers and developers to define test plans, including test scope, objectives, and timelines.
4. Test Execution: Oversee test case design, execution, and defect tracking to ensure thorough testing coverage.
5. Automation: Drive test automation efforts and identify opportunities for test script automation. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress and Cucumber is a plus.
6. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve QA processes and standards to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with product development goals.
8. Hiring Involvement: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process to attract top QA talent as we grow.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, especially Cypress and Cucumber.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in fintech or related industries is a plus.
